Hey guys, most of you will know about our UT3 mod, AFF: PlanetStorm, which is a wicked sick hybrid of fleet combat and first person shootery. all our art minions are hard at work on sekrit things which require not only consummate vise but specific skills which they possess in boatloads.

however, there is also a need for less complicated stuff, such as 2d artwork. what i'd like to ask all my DA pals, is would you guys draw me some future artwork for posters, advertising, screens, general clutter etc.

The reason why im asking for new artwork instead of requesting to use existing stuff, is that it needs to be *in-character* to our universe, so if you dont know anything about the Angels Fall First universe, i'd reccomend checking out our history wiki on our site - [link]

ill be poking as many people as i can about this on DA, and im hoping to get as many useable pieces of random stuff as possible to humanise our environments with.

Sadly, the only payment i can offer is Glory, as any contributions will be highly visible in our game and credited (if possible, on the image itself) to their creators. however artists looking to get more involved in game artwork (and with some 3d experience) can always apply to join our team.

here are some more detailed specifications:

-- a map we're currently developing is a city starport, complete with glass n steel fancy architecture, and of course loads of billboards. we need product and service advertisements of any kind, from trashy hover-cab flyers to expensive-looking perfume adverts. other places we will use these include magazins, posters, flyers, stickers etc etc.

-- make yourself a celebrity in our universe! use your DA name as a product name (Stranjo, for whites whiteyer than the last whites), fox everybody with some nebulous arty imagery and a single word in the middle. we dunno, it could be like, a brand of hairspray. i guess the point is that we want as much breadth of variety as possible.

-- we'd prefer to keep thing believable-looking, so we won't use any joke pix (unless they are really, really funny, then mb we'll stick em in sekrit places)

-- feel free to reference anything in our extensive universe wiki (linked above) but try and refrain from fuxing with the *lore* too much (like inadvertantly introducing an alien race, a new faction, or a starsystem nation or planet not listed in the wiki) there are more than enough anchor points in our stories and histories that you shouldnt be short of names to drop or places to mention.

-- that said, we almost never mention non millitary and non political people in our stories, so you can make up all the boybands and futur-celebrities you like. hell, take a picture of yourself and use that!

-- we can use animations or movies

-- we can light stuff up

-- we will add dirt and weathering to images procedurally, so we're looking for clean source artwork

-- we cannot use anything containing copyrighted material or trademarks, no chetz ples.

-- images will be rendered as 3d textures, which means they will be square or multiples of square proportions, 1x1, 1x2, 1x4, 2x1, etc etc, and will have pixel resolutions of 512 or 1024. but they can be stretched if you really must have a weird shape.

it would be WICKED if you guys could step up and represent DA in our game.
